Q:  Is hydro dipping permanent?

A:  The completed hydro dipping process is a very permanent coating.

Q:  Can you hydro dip a solid color?

 A:  Currently, there are no solid colors of film available.  They are all patterns of some sort.  For example: Camo, wood grain, stone, flames, lace and many more.  There are over 6,000 patterns available.

Q:  Is there a chrome hydro dip?

  A:   No, chrome is a completely different process. 

​

Q:  How do I care for my hydro dipped part?

A:  We suggest you treat your hydro dipped part as you would the exterior of your car.  It has been clear coated so the clear coat will scratch.  The pattern is protected under the clear coat.

Q:  What is the turn around time for the job?

A: The ​turn around time for the job is typically 3-5 days. 

​

Q:  What is the cost to hydro dip my item?

A:  The cost is determined  by film pattern and the size of your part.  Hydro dipping is not a cheap process and requires a  lot of specialized skill for the part to be considered done correctly.

Q:  What do I need to bring you when I am ready for you to begin?

A: You should bring your part disassembled and clean part.  If not clean, we will clean it, but will charge extra.

Q:  What kind of things can be dipped?

A:  This is the exciting part.  Anything you can think of that can be submerged in water can be hydro dipped.

Q:  What do I need to do to place my order? 

A:  Once you have spoken with us, choose your pattern and make an appointment to drop your part off.
